Meta Ads
Facebook and Meta Ads Agency for UK Ecommerce Brands
For UK ecommerce brands, Meta results depend on creative volume, clean tracking and a break even that accounts for VAT. We combine account management with a steady flow of tested creative.
What we manage
- Prospecting and retargeting campaigns with a simple structure
- Creative testing with several hooks per concept
- UGC style video. See our guides on UGC ads and finding UGC creators
- Catalogue and Advantage+ campaigns for stores with a healthy product feed
- Reporting against break even, not only platform ROAS
Tracking and consent
We set up the Meta pixel and Conversions API together, check event match quality and compare reported results with store revenue. Cookie consent under UK GDPR and PECR affects what can be tracked, so tracking is built consent-aware. Take legal advice on your own obligations.
For Shopify and UK ecommerce
We review offer, product pages and delivery messaging as well as ads. See Meta ads for Shopify stores for the approach, and the ROAS calculator to work out break even after VAT.
Market specifics for the UK
Costs rise around Black Friday and Christmas, so we plan creative volume early. UK ads must follow the ASA CAP Code, and creator content should be clearly labelled where there is a commercial relationship. Health, beauty and supplement claims get extra scrutiny, so we check them before launch.
Next step
Start with an audit of your account and tracking. For the general service, see our Facebook Ads agency page.
Account structure for Meta ads
We keep the structure simple. A small number of campaigns are built around one goal each, such as sales, leads or retargeting. Within them, ad sets test audiences or placements, and ads test creative. Fewer, larger ad sets exit the learning phase faster than many tiny ones.
For the United Kingdom we target by nation, region, city or postcode radius and make sure the offer, language, price format in pounds sterling and delivery message match local expectations.
Creative testing system
On Meta, creative does most of the targeting. We plan a steady stream of new angles rather than minor edits of one ad: problem and solution, demo, social proof, offer, founder story and comparison. Formats include short vertical video, static images and carousels, and UGC style video where it fits the product. Each batch is tagged so we can see which angle, hook and format drive results, not just which single ad won.
Audiences and automation
Broad targeting with strong creative often works, particularly with Advantage+ campaigns, but only when the pixel and Conversions API feed clean purchase or lead data. We layer retargeting for site visitors, add to cart and video viewers, and use customer lists for suppression and lookalike style signals, in line with UK GDPR, PECR cookie consent rules and the ASA and CAP codes, including clear #ad labelling for creator content.
Measurement and attribution
We set up the Meta pixel and the Conversions API together, check event match quality, and compare platform numbers with your own analytics and orders. Attribution windows change reported results, so we look at blended figures too, such as total revenue against total ad spend. Decisions are made on the trend over a week or more, not on a single day.
Common Meta Ads mistakes we fix
- Boosting posts instead of building proper campaigns
- Changing budgets or edits every day, which resets learning
- Running one creative angle until it burns out
- No exclusion of existing customers from prospecting
- Weak preparation for Black Friday, Boxing Day sales, Christmas and Prime Day, so creative and budgets arrive late
